Wildlife Garden wall hook Roe Deer - hand-carved DekoHook
The Roe Deer is a relatively small deer species found in Europe and males have only short antlers. A male roe deer is called a roebuck or hind, and a female is called a roe. Roe deers sleep with their eyes open in order to protect themselves from predators. When startled, both sexes of roe deer make a dog-like barking sound.
The roe deer head is carefully and intricately hand-carved from lime wood and hand-painted with water-based acrylic paint. Each wooden head is a little different and, therefore, unique. Attached is a strong metal hook that can easily hold towels, jackets, jewellery or even a school bag. The deer head and the sturdy metal hook together are approx. 18 cm high and 6.5 cm wide. Most impressive are ensembles of several Wildlife Garden animal heads. For example arrange a grey wolf, a brown bear and a red fox together with the roe deer.
A great gift idea for any occasion that brings a bit of European wilderness into any room and is guaranteed a success!
