The colourful Rainbow Lorikeets are medium-sized parrots native to coastal regions of Australia and nearby countries. They are social birds that thrive in rainforests and coastal areas but can also adapt to urban settings. Their diet mainly consists of nectar, fruits, and some insects. With their unique brush-tipped tongue they easily feed on nectar.
The animal is carefully and intricately hand-carved from lime wood and painted with water-based acrylic paint.
Each bird sculpture is approx. 25 cm high, varies slightly and is therefore unique. A great gift idea for any occasion that brings a piece of wildlife into your home!
